You must be a Level 2 Certified Instructor.
OR
You must be a Level 1 Certified Instructor who has attended a Level 2 Live Teacher Training.

About the Live Teacher Training | Level 3

Are you ready to deepen your knowledge of Essentrics’ flexibility and therapeutic techniques?

Flexibility is often the missing piece needed to relieve pain, unlock movement, and heal injuries. In Level 3 training, you’ll learn how to confidently adapt a variety of standing, floor, and barre/chair exercises to meet the needs of any student – whether they’re looking to reduce stiffness, recover from injury, or simply move more freely.

This training goes beyond the fundamentals, exploring how the body responds to every shift, angle, and reflex. You’ll discover the science of working with connective tissue and using Essentrics’ neuromuscular techniques to unlock deeper flexibility, alleviate tension, and support recovery.

What You’ll Learn

This 3-day training delves into the science behind Essentrics’ therapeutic and flexibility-focused sequences, giving you practical tools to meet every student’s needs. Here’s what to expect:

• Science of Stretching: Understand how muscles, fascia, and the nervous system work together through hands-on practice.
• Flexibility Sequences: Analyze and teach Essentrics flexibility sequences with a deeper understanding of their therapeutic benefits.
• Barre/Chair Exercises: Gain practical experience in teaching barre/chair flexibility exercises with a focus on positioning, setup, and seamless transitions.
• Anatomy: Understand how anatomy applies to alignment and joint health, allowing you to teach with more precision and confidence.
• Modifications: Learn how to safely adapt exercises for students with mobility challenges or injuries.
• Teaching Skills: Refine your verbal cueing, imagery, and corrections to create a more enjoyable and impactful experience for your students.

You’ll come away feeling confident and capable in any teaching situation – ready to help your students release tension, lengthen muscles, and move with ease.

Your Educator

Gail Garceau is an Essentrics® Master Trainer and Essentrics TV workout host. Gail joined the Teacher Training department at the Essentrics Head Office in 2014, where she works closely with Miranda Esmonde-White on scientific research and the development of the Essentrics program and instructor curriculum.

Growing up a competitive athlete, Gail was originally drawn to Essentrics after experiencing how it improved her power in sports and relieved her sciatic pain. In her work coaching professional and Olympic athletes, Gail draws on her innate understanding of the athlete mindset to instill in them the value of Essentrics flexibility training for injury prevention and improved performance.

Passionate about educating people of all ages and fitness levels on the benefits of Essentrics, Gail leads live teacher trainings, workshops and retreats worldwide. She also teaches regular Essentrics group classes at studios, community shelters and hospitals in Montreal.
