About the Live Teacher Training | Level 3

Deepen your understanding of Essentrics flexibility and therapeutic techniques. This training explores how the body responds to every stage of aging and recovery, with a focus on corrective tissue work and neuromuscular techniques that help unlock greater flexibility, relieve tension and support recovery.

What You’ll Learn

• Science of Stretching: Understand how muscles, fascia and the nervous system work together through hands-on practice. 
• Flexibility Sequences: Analyze and teach Essentrics flexibility sequences with a deeper understanding of their therapeutic benefits.
• Barre/Chair Exercises: Gain practical experience teaching barre/chair exercises.
• Anatomy: The functional importance of the Big 4 muscles and how to keep them balanced and healthy.
• How to use Essentrics to gently reverse atrophy and recover lost mobility.
• Modifications: Learn how to safely adapt exercises for students with mobility challenges or injuries.
• Teaching Skills: Refine your verbal cueing, imagery and corrections to create a more enjoyable and impactful experience for your students.

You will leave feeling confident and capable in your teaching situation, ready to help your students release tension, lengthen muscles and move with ease.

Led by expert instructors, daily live classes provide an engaging way to experience new cues, music, and teaching styles — offering inspiration to bring back to your own students.

Pre-Event Virtual Session: Level 3

Prepare for your live training with a 90-minute theory session on Zoom, held two weeks before the live event. This session will help you feel ready to apply the foundational principles of Level 3 flexibility and therapeutic techniques, setting the stage for an immersive live training experience.

Your Educator

Amanda Cyr is an Essentrics Master Trainer and Educator.

She began teaching Essentrics in 2013 and joined the Teacher Training department at the Essentrics Head Office in 2015, where her role is focused on expanding and developing the Essentrics program. She works closely with the instructor community by hosting retreats, workshops and live teacher trainings worldwide. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and draws on her fascination with the human body and its design to help guide her work.

In her aim to continually expand her knowledge of the body’s natural healing systems, she completed a 200 hour yoga certification and is also a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner. By sharing the Essentrics technique, Amanda is devoted to redefining the true meaning of fitness and helping people experience what it feels like to be healthy and happy in their bodies.
